UM has been named RECMA\u2019s top global agency for New Business Momentum in the media agency tracker\u2019s latest Trends Analysis Report.<\/p>\n
Ranked by the success rate of both new business generation and pitch defenses, UM outscored its nearest competitor by 11 points to earn the No.1 rank. Some of the agency\u2019s wins this year include GoPro and Tourism Australia (Global), Sony Pictures (NA), Sony Electronics (US and China) and General Mills (China).<\/p>\n
Omnicom Media Group agencies PHD and Hearts & Science (unveiled late last year) placed second and third respectively. H&S quickly won several big accounts including Procter & Gamble, AT&T and McDonald\u2019s. \u00a0Those three shops fell into what RECMA called the \u201cAscending\u201d category in its Trend report.<\/p>\n
The following four agencies were grouped in the \u201cPositive\u201d category and included (in order) Zenith, Carat, Vizuem and Maxus.<\/p>\n
Next on the list are those agencies that RECMA described as \u201cStable\u201d and included Initiative\/BPN, MEC, MediaCom, and OMD.<\/p>\n
\u201cUnderperformers,\u201d per the RECMA report included Mindshare and Starcom.<\/p>\n
