Tourism and Events Queensland, the Queensland Government\u2019s lead marketing, experience development and major events agency, has appointed UM as its media strategy and planning agency for future domestic and New Zealand campaigns.<\/p>\n
At the completion of a competitive pitch process, UM was chosen from a shortlist that included two other leading media communications agencies. The appointment is effective beginning April 1 and will be handled by UM\u2019s Brisbane office.<\/p>\n
Steve McRoberts, Group Executive Director Marketing for Tourism and Events Queensland, stated that agencies were required to provide credentials together with a comprehensive strategic recommendation.<\/p>\n
