Made by\u00a0<a class=\" inline-paragraph-link\" href=\"https:\/\/adage.com\/amp\/vendor\/um\">UM Studios New York<\/a>,\u00a0<a class=\" inline-paragraph-link\" href=\"https:\/\/adage.com\/amp\/vendor\/highway-61\">Highway 61 Films<\/a>\u00a0and production company\u00a0<a class=\" inline-paragraph-link\" href=\"https:\/\/adage.com\/amp\/vendor\/saville-productions\">Saville<\/a>, it\u2019s based on resurfaced records of people who were nursed in one ward, 5B, at the dawn of the AIDS epidemic before much was known about the disease, and connects J&amp;J\u2019s brand focus on \u201ccare\u201d and \u201ctouch\u201d with how nurses cared for the patients.<\/p>\n<p>Jury president Scott Donaton, global chief creative and content officer at Digitas, described the 94-minute film, which opened June 14 across selected U.S. movie theaters, as \u201ca brave idea, beautifully told and brilliantly executed.
