UM Thailand has been awarded the media planning and buying account for Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei.<\/p>\n
UM\u2019s association with Huawei began last year, when the telecom company selected the agency to handle its media duties in the Philippines to grow its smartphone and laptop business. According to a Huawei representative, UM has the perfect combination of chemistry, strategic planning and buying capabilities and creative content ideas.<\/p>\n
\u201cHuawei has been operating in Thailand for 15 years and has been instrumental in building Thailand\u2019s digital economy strategy,\u201d said Kanokwan Kunaruangroj, Business Director, UM Thailand. \u201cWe look forward to partnering with them to help build the brand profile in the country and, in turn, transform Thailand into an information and communications technology hub in Southeast Asia.\u201d<\/p>\n
Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunications equipment company headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Its products and services have been deployed in over 140 countries. It currently serves 45 of the world\u2019s 50 largest telecoms operators.<\/p>\n
