GCH Retail, which owns and operates brands such as Giant, Cold Storage, Mercato, TMC and Jasons in Malaysia has handed UM Malaysia its media buying and planning account.
UM, the media agency under IPG Mediabrands, will handle all of GCH Retail’s media planning and buying across traditional media.
Marketing director of GCH Retail, Saki Goh said, “We were looking for an agency to bring a fresh approach to retail. They demonstrated an insightful strategy and story, and the chemistry was just right.”
