In the seventh edition of a special COVID-19 series, IPG Media Lab’s “Floor 9″ media futures podcast, the lab hosts UM strategists Lin Liu (UM China and Mat Maroni (UM APAC) to discuss how the pandemic has impacted the consumer lifestyles and behaviors in their respective regions, and how it is accelerating trends that brands need to look out for in post-COVID recovery.

“This period is a great testament to the power of branding,” notes Liu, adding, “You really need to invest in your brand, because it’s the best risk mitigator in the long term.”

“We’ve seen six years of changes in ecommerce happen in the last six weeks,” concludes Maroni.
